SPACE is a complete
Thoroughbred horse race handicapping method which combines both SPEED
and PACE, thus the name SPACE. There are
many pace handicapping methods and formulas, but I have never seen any
as successful and EASY TO USE as SPACE. It is based on the
theory that the faster a horse had to run early, the lower its final
time would be.
We may be looking at a
race at out track today, and the 2 best horses in the race both have
speed ratings of 90. However, one horse may have earned that
90 against a much tougher pace than the other. When those 2
face up today, the one that ran the faster early pace will have the
advantage.
