Snap
Cap Pro is a fully automatic computer
handicapping method. It uses the BRIS $1 single file format version of
the DRF. The program is very easy to use, and in minutes hands you a
professionally handicapped report for every race on the card, that
would normally take hours to do by hand!
Snap Cap does
not stop at just handing you the most powerful handicapping reports
you have ever seen. Oh no! Snap Cap Pro goes way beyond there.
Snap Cap Pro
will even tell
you what bets to make!
Yes, like in
this race, play the #5 to win! Or in that race, box the 2-4-7 in an
exacta and/or trifecta. Or hey, dutch the 3 and 6 to win in this race.
Yes, Snap Cap
will look at its own reports, and when it sees fit, will reccomend the
plays for you! No decisions...it will be right there on the screen, or
on the printout. Just read and bet! Does it get any better?

ABove is a
screen shot from Snap Cap Pro. This was a maiden race with first time
starters. I chose this race on purpose because I wanted to
show you some of the powers Snap Cap has to offer, in tough races like
these. First let me explain the columns. H# is the actual program
betting Number. Next to that is the official morning line odds, and
horses name.
SCR
is a contender rating. It is based on my True Tenders rating,
but has some extra adjustments added in.
Snap
1 is a speed based rating based on the horses recent and
best performances.
Snap
2 is like Snap 1, and in many cases will be
exact. However Snap 2 is a little more forgiving of recent
bad races.
Snap
3 is a speed average based on my own converted
speeds. Snap 3 uses each horses races AND workouts! Yes, the
horses workouts are converted to races, so in cases like the example
above, where you have horses that have raced, and others that are first
time starters, they can all be compared equally! You will be
amazed at some of the huge prices Snap 3 will uncover for you.
POWER
is an overall power rating for the horse, based on speed, pace, class,
and numerous other factors.
CLASS
is a class rating for each horse.
DAYS
tells you the number of days since the horse last raced, along with the
number of workouts since its last race.
Below
all the ratings you will see the recommended bets. In this
race the program suggested to bet the #4 to WIN, or use it as a key
horse for other type wagers, like pick 3's, pick 4's, trifectas, etc.
The program also gave the #4 and #1 horses as a 2 horse dutch, meaning
you could bet both to win. It also told you to use the 4 and 1 for 2
horse exotic type wagers, like quiniellas, or exacta boxes. For 3 horse
exotics, like trifectas or 3 horse exacta boxes, it told you to use
4-1-6, and for 4 horse boxes it said 4-1-6-2.
By the way,
the 4 did win paying $6.80, and the 1 did come second paying $13.80 to
win. The $2 exacta paid $96.00.
(You didn't
think I would show you a losing race, did you?)
